i have arrived in Ohio and am doing the christmas thing. excited to go to Lincoln, then to COLORADO or some snowboarding with some good friends!!

Im waiting at the orlando international airport waiting for my 10:30 flight for boston, MA. After Boston its to Pittsburgh where i then drive to my final destination, grandmas house.

I want to play in the snow

Monday was the start of my first film photography class here at Full Sail. So far it has been very good. My lecture is alright. we have pretty much gone over stuff that i already knew but it is great to be in a class about something that i love. Lab on the other hand is awesome. I hang out in the dark room and develop photos for FOUR hours with and unlimited paper amount. Its great. The creativity flows via experimentation!!!

Here are a couple samples of my prints so far. Let me know what you think!!

This was my first assignment from school. We were told to make/do something, anything that represents success to you. I didnt really know what to do at first. Should i make a short video? I am a film student after all. Then i got the idea of painting a picture of a man in a hallway full of doors. I of course cannot paint (yet) so i decided to design something using illustrator. (another thing that i dont know how to use. Thanks to those who helped me out.)

It represents, to me, a man (me i suppose) that has the keys to all the doors of oportunity and can choose whichever path he decides)

Cliché maybe but it makes sense to me.

First of all. Sorry about the delay. Anyone who has moved knows its not an easy task. Merlin and I have both been extremely busy getting settled into our new apartment and just getting a general feel of the area..
Not to mention getting ready for school,
which we started today. I cannot speak
for Merlin but I am extremely excited
to be back in school. While i was
sitting in my FOUR hour lecture, this
feeling came over me. It just felt so
good to be back
in school, learning again. But this time
im not just getting by. Im actually there
to learn and I know that everything i do
will better me in the long run. And that
feels good.







We are pretty much settled into our place now and we decided to head up I-95 to see our good pal D-Rock. It was good to see him. We got to catch up and be silly again. Everyone knows that
when you are hanging
out with D you get silly.
Doesn’t matter who you are.
It happens. And thats what is so
great about him.






And if you think that he has given up the dancing bit.. Think again!



One Night we went out to Casbah Cafe. A hookah lounge and spend the evening there. We had a good time there and met a few friends.








They consisted of
-several girls from Winter Park that now live in Gainesville
-one girl that is from Jacksonville but now lives in Winter Park
-and a girl that lives in Jacksonville that wants to come down to Full Sail eventually.

I’d say it was a pretty successful evening.


Sunday we went to Edgewater for church (Derrick’s dad, Bill’s church). And after we came back to Derricks house and i recorded some songs for Mandy (Derricks Sister)

Mandy has been writing her own guitar music and lyrics for several years and has great talent. I wanted to try my shot at recording because i have never really dabbled with recording music and/or producing it at all before. But it was interesting and i had a good time. After i work with the songs a little but more i will upload them on here so you can hear them. Im just having a little trouble making the guitar and vocals blend together a little better.

So thats a little bit of whats been going on.

The Move

ON THE ROAD Thursday, October 18



We set out for Florida with out cars packed and our boots tied tight, hoping we wont get in a fight.. But, contrary to our hopes I got a speeding ticket less than half and hour out of Lincoln. suck. But we got into Winter Park and have gotten settled in to our apartment. Check out our place and some stuff we’ve been doing since we left.

Ultimate Going Away

On behalf of Merlin, Canada and I, I would like to thank all of you for coming to out going away get together. It really means a lot that you would come hang out with us for the evening before we departed for our next adventures. It was great seeing all of you and we hope to stay in touch!

That is a great question. I have come to realize that I HATE IWEB. its a great program but i am never one for limiting non-professional applications.

So i guess im saying blogger is more professional than iweb :)
