i guess i was going for kind of a print ad in a magazine or something.
these are a few of em

wide shot- also had a soft light on this one in addition to the other lights which is why its brighter

behind the scenes of the shoot
in the "bar" of the candyland (the soundstage)
using a baby 1k with a 4x4 silk mounted in front
practical lamp on dimmer behind the couch
in betweenie light with reflector board for fill
and soft light aswell

99 bananas
dont especially care for it. bad shadows.

doesnt make sense
do you know why?

i got to have some words with one of my lighting instructors about my shots. Ralph happens to be a fashion photographer that has worked in japan, europe and miami.
He criticized my shots and tore me down.
in a good way of course. i was more than appreciative for his advice. he brought up good points. it was great getting his professional advice. i am going to try to take advantage of his experience and hopefully learn alot from him
but i would also like your comments, opinions, advice, criticism
for real, be honest. i know i am not a professional and i never will be if i dont learn as much as i can from everybody and accept peoples criticism so..
until later

i have minor knowledge with lighting and i don't know exactly what you were going for, but the only thing that i would have different is to make the bottles of the liquor stand out. if i imagine this on print i do so as an ad. i would like my audience to be able to see my product.
....its because the light is in the background, but somehow her face is getting a lot of direct light on it. am i right?
and also, i agree with juan. these photos don't really sell the product to me. it seems like they are all about the girl. but then again, its a lighting class...not a product sales photography class.
where's you assignment #2 at don't quit on us now we just got thing going.
