Film. plus or minus??

I decided it has been a long time since i shot on film. i thought i would take this vintage nikon f and put it to the test.

this camera is all metal, completely manual, including the film advance lever. the light meter is hardly a meter. it has a needle that bounces from over exposed to under and a prime 1.4 lens. but the truth is i love it.

i just got my photos developed and after eager anticipation. they turned out sour. 1 roll was completely ruined. and the other is obviously my first roll on film in a while.

so.

film is tough
film is raw

good or bad?

this was a photo shot before i got the light meter working. i metered with a digital camera and then tweaked from there.
what do you think?

so if it was film, then how'd you get it on your computer? or maybe it wasn't film after all?? maybe you shot it with your dSLR and your just trying to trix us.

well, well, well...i think i just solved the case. nailed it!

jk, it looks good. very good exposure. i haven't really looked at that camera up close, but that light meter kind of sounds like a hassle. thank the Lord for digital photography! am i right?

(for a second there, i actually believed that i knew something about photography)
